QUARK GLUON (QG)
QUARK GLUON (QG) was founded by Hiroki Sugita.
It is an artist collective established in 2021.
Artists who have different themes and expression methods and who are active as individuals on a daily basis gather at QG and resonate with each other to create new questions and expressions and work on the world.
The QG project addresses social issues in various areas such as the environment, refugees, local industries, and disabilities.
We approach through art (problem raising) and design (problem solving).
While listening to the history and culture cultivated in the region and community
Creating art works that look at events from multiple perspectives and presenting new values, local governments and companies,
We collaborate with non-profit organizations to design projects / products to solve problems.
We will create a healthy and sustainable cycle by going back and forth between the past and the future, inside and outside, issues and possibilities, accepting contradictions and complexity, and having fun. That is our QG mission.
